Words cannot describe how awesome this family is. I loved everything about this shoot and these are some of my very favorite photos I have taken.

Most of my calendar is filled with couples and weddings, but I do set aside time for shoots like these because I LOVE them. My favorite family sessions are the ones that feel documentary and lifestyle and take place in an environment that is meaningful to the family.

With children, it’s always best to just follow their schedules and choose a location where they can play. Although I normally love to shoot when the light is low in the sky, it’s way more important to have happy kids! I’m also not above bribery 😉
