Stanley Hotel Wedding | Mika + Gabe

There is so much to love about this perfect, summer Estes Park Wedding. I’m obsessed with weddings at old, historic buildings and the Stanley Hotel is probably the king of all Colorado historic wedding venues.

Mika and Gabe got ready in the cute cabins on-site at the Stanley. When I went down to visit Gabe and the guys, we were greeted by the locals, eating all the foliage and prominently photobombing the groom. After everyone was ready, it was a short shuttle ride over to Rocky Mountain National Park where Gabe & Mika shared their first look. When the wedding party heading back into the shuttles, Gabe & Mika read private vows to each other in front of an iconic Rocky Mountain National Park backdrop. It was so beautiful and intimate. I highly support the continuation of this trend.

The ceremony took place on the west lawn and the reception in one of their reception halls. One of my favorite moments of the day was when we noticed a herd of elk lounging on the property and ran down to get photos near them (at a respectful distance, of course). The whole day was gorgeous, Mika,  Gabe and their crew were so much fun, and I could photograph weddings here all. the. time.
